Mike Hall, Senior Vice President, Software Development
Mike Hall is senior vice president of software development. His responsibilities include software development and implementation across multiple platforms, departments and teams to ensure all programs and systems are aligned with Guild’s business objectives. He also works with vendors to design and implement improvements and advancements to the company’s custom software applications and proprietary systems.
Mike started at Guild as a programmer in 1992 and spent four years with the company. After holding positions at Advanta Mortgage and JP Morgan Chase, he returned to Guild as a senior developer in 2005. He was named supervisor of software development in 2010 and promoted to vice president in 2017.
He has overseen many important projects throughout his career, including the upgrade of Guild’s core loan production systems into custom, web-based applications for processing and underwriting systems, a pricing engine, document portals, and a marketing communication system. He initiated an incentive program that enables Guild to onboard entry level programmers and train them on key platforms and applications.
Mike graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in information systems from San Diego State University in 1982, and has his Certificate in Applied Project Management from Villanova University. He is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association.
