Protect yourself from wire fraud
Cybercriminals are actively targeting the mortgage process with fraudulent wire instructions. Some tips to stay protected:
- Even though an email appears legitimate regarding a wire transfer, always confirm wiring instructions via a telephone call to a trusted and verified phone number. Never wire money without confirming the wiring instructions are correct.
- You can reach our payoff department Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–5 pm PT to confirm any wire information related to a Guild loan.
