Steven McCormick, Great Lakes Regional Vice President

Steven McCormick is the regional vice president overseeing the Great Lakes region. He leads the region’s retail mortgage sales and production activities.

He joined Guild in 2023 after facilitating the acquisition of First Centennial Mortgage (FCM), an Aurora, Illinois-based independent mortgage banking company he founded with his brother, Dave, in 1995. Under Steven’s leadership as President, FCM funded more than $3 billion annually from 2021 to 2022 and was recognized by Inc. Magazine with the Inc. 5000 Fastest-Growing Company award for six consecutive years (2018-2022).

Steven graduated from Marquette University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and is an active member of his community. He served in the past as the chairman and board member of the Heritage YMCA and chairman and board member of Faith Christian Academy; he’s currently a board member of the Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity. In 2007, Steven was named the Humanitarian of the Year by the Junior League of Kane and DuPage Counties.
