Bruce Barnes, Senior Managing Director, Reverse

Bruce Barnes is the senior managing director of the Reverse Mortgage Division of Guild Mortgage. Mr. Barnes has more than 30 years of experience building and managing mortgage banking platforms with specialized expertise in the reverse mortgage industry for the last 20 years. Prior to joining Guild, Mr. Barnes served as a director, officer and senior managing partner for multiple company’s where he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of reverse mortgage operations, sales, marketing, servicing and securitization. During his tenure in the reverse mortgage industry, Mr. Barnes has been responsible for servicing and securitizing in excess of $7 billion of reverse mortgage home loans and has always steered his teams to be leaders in the reverse mortgage industry. Mr. Barnes holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona where he is an active Alumni.
